- 16 small flour or corn tortillas
- 1/2 cup canned green chilis
- 1 1/2 cups jack cheese
- 1 cup sweet corn
- 1/2 cup Schultz’s Green Chili Lime Cooking Sauce, plus more for serving
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 teaspoon sugar
How To Make
STEP 1: Mix chiles, beans, cheese, Schultz’s Green Chili Lime Cooking Sauce, corn and sugar in a medium bowl.
STEP 2: Place about 2 tablespoons of filling down center of a tortilla and roll it up tightly. Secure with a toothpick and place seam side down on a plate.
STEP 3: In a heavy pan, heat ½ inch of canola oil. Once oil is hot and shimmering, fry the taquitos in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately with Schultz’s Green Chili Lime Cooking Sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
