PREP: 15 Min. | COOK: 10 Min. | TOTAL: 25 Min.
SERVES: 4 to 8
- 12 dill pickle spears
- 1-2 cups Panko Breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Schultz’s Gourmet Original Seasoning & Rub
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon dill
- Ranch dressing, for serving
How To Make
STEP 1: In a heavy pot, heat oil over medium-high until hot and shimmering.
STEP 2: In a large bowl, combine flour, egg, baking powder, milk, Schultz’s Gourmet Original Seasoning & Rub black pepper and dill, let sit 5-10 minutes.
STEP 3: Add 1 cup panko to a separate medium bowl (you may need more as you start to batter pickles)
STEP 4: Dip each pickle spear in the wet batter and then gently toss in the panko.
STEP 5: Fry pickles in small batches for 3-4 minutes or until brown and crispy. Once they've finished frying, allow them to rest on paper towels to rid the excess grease. While still warm, serve with ranch dressing for dipping. Enjoy!
